This memorial in gratitude to those who freely give so much for us.

Thank You For Serving
Living or deceased you are our Heroes

We dedicate this page to all the men and women who served our country
Since the founding of our nation 234 years ago,
our hopes, dreams, and protection has been placed on the backs of
The Young Men and Women Who Love This Country and Freely Serve.
WITH ALL OUR HEARTS WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE

One evening after the last family dinner for what may be a very long time or even forever, a mother sits looking at her young child who will always be her baby and her eyes are misty with tears she tries to hide.

A father looks on his son or daughter with pride and a heart that is bursting with love and worry and hope that again their baby boy or girl will come home one day in the future and make their family whole again.

At last, they stand and all hug one-another in a family embrace that is filled with prayer and yet fear
in the hope that Joe or Lillie, Butch or Betty, Sally or Steve will come home safely to their arms again.

Unfortunately at times when these young hero's of our nation come home it will be for a final rest
in places known as "Arlington, or Balboa, or any other National place of Honor and Peace.

ON THIS PAGE THEY WILL FIND A HOME FOREVER - HERE AND IN OUR HEARTS.

June 28 2005 in Kunar province in or as a result of Operation Red Wing.

The first four U.S. Navy Seals were on a mission to capture or Kill Ahmad Shah - the Taliban leader who
commanded a group of insurgents known as the "Mountain Tigers".  They were discovered and betrayed by
3 Afghanistan non-combatants, who they had let free approximately 30 minutes before they were attacked by the Taliban.

The remaining sixteen military personnel (8 USA and 8 USN) were aboard rescue helicopters that were shot down
by rocket fire while on their way to extract or rescue the members of Seal Team 10, June 28 2005 "Just one night in Afghanistan".
